CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — The Friends of the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library will host its fall book sale November 8–11 in the annex of the Hankin Library. Following a new expanded schedule tested with the spring sale, all book sales now run for four days.

All days: Fill a Friends of the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library tote bag (provided by us) with any sale items for $25.

Major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) now accepted for book sale purchases every day of the sale.

All proceeds from the event will be used for supplemental programming and materials for the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library. In the past year, the Friends group has sponsored adult and youth summer and winter reading programs, new audiovisual equipment, a new book drop, yoga and tai chi classes, and much more.

“In preparation, we’ve been very busy cataloging the many community donations of books and media as well as books and DVDs culled from the library’s collection,” says Maria Gavin, membership and volunteer chair for the Friends group. “Our prices are so good that you can buy a Friends Tote bag full of books for only $25 and be set with your reading until our next sale in the spring!”
