DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Over 300 graduating students from the Chester County Technical College High School (TCHS) Brandywine and Pickering campuses are expected to attend the annual Career & Training Fair on Tuesday, March 15 at the TCHS Brandywine Campus in Downingtown. The Career & Training Fair offers a unique opportunity for local business and industry partners to interview TCHS seniors. Last year, over 100 businesses and industry partners attended the virtual event and many students walked away with job offers or further interview opportunities.
One of the hallmarks of the Career & Training Fair is that business and industry partners receive a rubric to help evaluate a student’s strengths and weaknesses throughout the interview process. Students then receive feedback after the event, which allows them to strengthen their interview skills.
An important feature of the Career & Training Fair is the “Dress for Success” program. “Dress for Success” is a program that seeks to provide students with professional attire who might not have access to it otherwise. Students are able to keep their outfits to ensure that they will have professional attire once they graduate from TCHS.
There are still spots available for business and industry partners interested in participating in this event. For more information about registration, visit www.cciu.org/ctf-registration or contact Jessica Titus at [email protected].
