West Chester Community Fundraising for Stetson Middle School 8th Graders

Dance fundraiser

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester parents are raising to throw a dance party for the entire Stetson Middle School graduating class.

Lisa Mintz, the fundraising organizer, states parents want to celebrate their 8th graders’ accomplishments and bring a sense of normalcy back to the children. Additionally, parents aspire to ensure no child has to pay to attend the celebration.

A GoFundMe account has been set up, with a $4,000 goal, to cover the costs of the venue, DJ, food, insurance, and other costs. In one day, they’ve raised nearly half of their goal.

If the goal is reached, additional funds may be used for a photo booth and party favors. Plus, unused money will be donated to the Class of 2025 Prom Fund in the fall.

It is important to note, the celebration is not connected to Stetson Middle School.
