WEST CHESTER, PA — State Rep. Dianne Herrin, D-Chester, announced her “Hikes with Herrin” event series so residents can discuss some of the pressing issues facing our commonwealth with her while enjoying the best public open spaces our community has to offer.

The first event on Sunday, Oct. 10 will focus on the effort to preserve open space here at home and across Pennsylvania. Each hike is scheduled to run for an hour and will start at the Birmingham Hill Trailhead, 1272 Birmingham Road, West Chester, PA 19382, with one group leaving at 1 p.m. and another at 2 p.m.

“I am looking forward to this unique event, and to the opportunity to talk one-on-one with those I serve while exercising and enjoying some fresh air together,” Herrin said.
