Shusterman Invites Residents to Virtual Scam Prevention Town Hall

PAOLI, PA — State Rep. Melissa Shusterman, D-Chester, is inviting area residents to attend a virtual scam-prevention town hall at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23.

Residents can register for the town hall on Shusterman’s website at https://www.pahouse.com/Shusterman/RSVP/?id=1443.

Shusterman will be joined by senior advocates and local police to provide information on how to detect and avoid financial scams.

Panelists will include:

  • Pennsylvania State Grange Legislative Director Carrie Nace.
  • Tredyffrin Township Police Officer Joseph Butler.
  • Chester County District Attorney’s Office Chief of Staff Andrea Cardamone.
  • PA Department of Banking & Securities Consumer Outreach Specialist George Dillman.

These experts will explain how to prevent becoming a victim of scammers, what to do if you or a loved one is targeted by scammers, and what resources are available.
