Oxford Borough Residents Invited to Participate in 2023 Spring Clean Up Event

OXFORD, PA — Oxford residents are being invited to participate in the borough’s 2023 Spring Clean Up Event from April 19th through April 22nd. The event will run from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day and is open to Oxford Borough residents only with proof of residency required. Participants can drop off items at 450 W. Locust Street, Oxford, PA 19363 where public works staff will be on hand to direct them and assist with unloading.

The Spring Clean Up Event is an opportunity for all Oxford Borough residents to do their part in keeping the town clean. Items such as furniture, appliances, yard waste, and scrap metal are accepted for disposal at no cost. However, some items, such as tires, will require a fee for disposal. Residents are also encouraged to bring recyclable materials such as paper products, glass bottles, aluminum cans, plastic containers and cardboard boxes for free recycling at designated bins on site.

Please note that during this event, recyclable electronics will NOT be accepted and no hazardous materials OR liquids of any kind will be accepted either. All items must follow standard disposal protocols, and all loads may be refused at any time at the discretion of public works staff.

The 2023 Spring Clean Up Event provides a great way for citizens of Oxford Borough to get rid of unwanted items while taking part in a collaborative effort to keep their town clean and beautiful!
