Oxford Borough on Halloween Trick-or-Treating and the Covid-19 Pandemic

OXFORD, PA — The Borough of Oxford has released the following statement on Halloween trick-or-treating during the COVID-19 pandemic:

“The Borough of Oxford does not normally set dates or times for Trick or Treating.

“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is reasonable to presume that many residents will not be participating with Trick or Treating.

“Borough residents are reminded to please respect the neighbors who choose to not participate in Trick or Treating.

“The standard practice is to keep your porch lights on if you are participating and to turn them off if you are not.

“We ask anyone participating in Trick or Treating to please adhere to all CDC guidelines and recommendations related to safe Trick or Treating.”
