MODENA, PA — Many home and business owners are facing similar challenges after the recent flooding in Chester County. Some are overwhelmed by the damage and unsure of where to turn for help.

Business owner Brad Johnson is left with a mess following a flood event on Tuesday, June 8th, and is facing thousands of dollars for repairs and the replacement of tools and equipment. He states it is devastating to small businesses.

“My shop and everything in it has been wiped out by the flood,” states Johnson. “I now cannot work, and must start to clean up to evaluate the many losses of tools, inventory, and customers’ equipment. I now have no income until I can get back up and running.”

With a 5-star Google rating, Brad Johnson has built his business and customer base over the last 30 years. Now, he is forced to reach out to the community for help and created a GoFundMe page.

Johnson said the purpose of the GoFundMe page is to help rebuild the business. The link to donate is https://gofund.me/6eafdf20.
