EAST FALLOWFIELD, PA — Rep. Harry Lewis Jr. (R-Chester) is hosting a paper shredding event on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at East Fallowfield Township Community Park, 900 Buck Run Road, East Fallowfield.
“Identity theft continues to affect more people each year, with 16.7 million people having been impacted in 2017 according to Javelin Strategy and Research,” Lewis said. “I encourage every family in the 74th District to make it harder for criminals to steal from them by safely disposing of personal documents.”
The event, which will feature an on-site industrial paper shredder, will provide the opportunity for households and businesses to shred up to four packing boxes of materials. The boxes will be returned to residents; Wiggins Shredding will not keep nor shred boxes.
Only paper – no cardboard – will be accepted. Staples and paper clips need not be removed. All shredding takes place on-site.
