CHADDS FORD, PA — The Kennett Township is inviting volunteers to join in an effort to help reopen Spar Hill on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Located at 434 Burnt Mill Road Chadds Ford, the former farmstead will be preparing for its grand reopening on May 13th and needs your help!
- Contribute to your community and help prepare for a special event
- Be rewarded with food and good company
- Learn about the history of Spar Hill while you work
Volunteers are being encouraged to bring their own tools such as rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and pruning sheers. Participants can join in any activity that interests them including clearing overgrown vegetation, spreading topsoil and mulch, general clean up, and even installing birdhouses and planting flowers.
Refreshments will also be served throughout the day.
