KENNETT SQUARE, PA — If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement, the Kennett Square Police Department is hiring! The department is comprised of professional men and women who work hard to maintain strong relationships with community members, businesses, and visitors.

The Kennett Square Police Department is looking for applicants who have a high level of desire to achieve and thrive professionally and on an individual basis. The deadline to apply is August 26, 2022, at 4:00 PM. The physical agility testing will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 8:30 AM and will be followed by the written examination at 11:00 AM. A $35 non-refundable application fee must be submitted with the application. The fee must be paid by cash or check, payable to the Borough of Kennett Square.

Full-Time Details

  • Starting Pay $62,475, plus overtime availability
  • Top Patrol Officer’s pay competitive with Chester County Departments
