KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Highlighting nearly two years of efforts to build a more inclusive future for Kennett Square, a coalition of emerging community leaders will headline the next “How We Build Matters” event on Thursday, September 22nd to talk about their plans to create new opportunities for prosperity in the historic square-mile Borough.
How We Build Matters Community Presentation
Thursday, September 22, 2022 6:30 p.m.
Kennett Square Presbyterian Church, 211 S. Broad St., Kennett Borough
The headline speakers are local residents who recently completed the Kennett Emerging Leaders Fellowship Program, an eight-week fellowship to cultivate and support new community leaders in Kennett. How We Build Matters is a regular speakers’ series in the Borough.
Several of the nine Emerging Leaders will lead a discussion at the event about their hopes for Kennett Square and the importance of having a seat at the table in mapping the Borough’s future. The event also will feature several exciting community projects, in an interactive “science fair” format, that is focused on enhanced public space in order to encourage Kennett residents to get involved in planning for the future.
