Kathryn Martin Joins Chester County Historical Society Staff

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Historical Society announced that Kathryn Martin will join their staff as the Librarian, starting December 16.

Martin holds a B.A. degree in Journalism from Temple University and a Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Kathryn has worked for the last seven years at Gettysburg College as the Cataloging and Collections Librarian and was promoted to its Special Collections Librarian, cataloging rare books, manuscripts, pamphlets, historic maps, and sheet music. Kathryn’s interests include music, art history, and running.

Founded in 1893, the Chester County Historical Society (CCHS) is the official county history museum, history education center, and historical repository of Chester County, Pennsylvania. As such, the Society aims to preserve and share the county’s remarkable history in powerful and relevant ways.
