WEST CHESTER, PA — Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) announced the details of her upcoming Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Telephone Town Hall scheduled for next Thursday, August 25 at 5:30 p.m. Houlahan organized the event following the legislation being signed into law by President Biden earlier this week. She will be joined by several expert panelists.

“Lowering costs for Pennsylvanians and all Americans remains one of my top priorities,” said Houlahan. “Together, Congress passed an historic investment to combat the growing threat of climate change, cut the cost of prescriptions for seniors, modernize the IRS to ensure wealthy corporations pay their fair share and more, all while reducing the national deficit. I look forward to not only sharing the specifics of how this legislation will benefit hardworking families and small businesses right here in Chester and Berks Counties but also answering any questions our community members might have.”

This will be Houlahan’s 65th town hall since serving as the representative for Pennsylvania’s Sixth Congressional District.

Houlahan, who represents all of Chester County and the southern part of Berks County, including the city of Reading, will also share updates on her constituent services, the ongoing economic recovery from the pandemic, and more. There will be a live question and answer period.
