WEST CHESTER, PA — The Fund for Women and Girls is partnering with the Chester County Women’s Commission to highlight challenges and opportunities for women and girls from the past, present, and future in an engaging monthly “Women in Chester County” Blueprint Lunch Program series that you can enjoy while you have lunch at your desk. Gather some colleagues, watch together, and discuss what you can do to support the advancement of women and girls in Chester County.

Since March is Women’s History Month, we honor the Chester County women who faced down slavery, worked for women’s voting rights, and created educational opportunities for women and girls. Jennifer Green of the Chester County History Center explores their historical collection this Thursday, March 16th at noon and talks about how women and girls here led to change for all.

Upcoming programming to put on your calendar now:

  • Thursday, April 20, noon – Sexual assault awareness
  • Thursday, May 18, noon – Mental health awareness
  • Thursday, June, 15, noon – Pride and LGBTQ+ awareness
  • Thursday, September 21, noon – Hispanic heritage
  • Thursday, October 19, noon – Political participation
  • Thursday, November 16, noon – Black history

These online programs, the third Thursday of each month at noon, except for July and August, are presented by Chester County leaders.
