Communities Supporting Their Greater Communities in Time of Crisis

EXTON, PAVantage Point Retirement Living and its communities are serving the greater communities they are a part by providing front line heroes with ‘COVID Care Kits’. Over the last several weeks, Vantage Point supplied countless health care workers and first responders with thousands of kits that will help keep themselves, and those they serve, protected from COVID-19.

Most recently, the team at Arcadia at Limerick Pointe, a Vantage Point community opening this fall in Limerick, PA, made a large delivery of close to 1,000 virucidal products to Pottstown Hospital. Each kit was prepared and disinfected prior to distribution, and includes items to help protect first responders and volunteers while they’re working hard to keep our communities safe.

The kits include:

  • Broad-spectrum viricidal spray for surface disinfection
  • Viricidal hand sanitizer
  • Betadine
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Emergen-C immunity-boosting supplements

Since initiating distribution of ‘COVID Care Kits,’ Vantage Point and its communities made deliveries to the various organizations in Pennsylvania and Delaware, including Delaware State Police (DE), Middletown Police Department (DE), Pottstown Meals on Wheels (PA), Lewes Village Volunteers (DE), Beebe Healthcare (DE), and Pottstown Hospital (PA).

“It is our mission to continue to support the greater community in this time, and hope others who serve the senior population will be inspired to do the same. If this crisis teaches us anything, we hope it teaches us all to remember that we are all one community and one family,” Vantage Point stated in their announcement.

“We continue to be inspired by stories both big and small – of the acts of heroism from healthcare workers to the small acts of kindness people are showing to their neighbors,” they continued. “If we can play just a small part in making a difference, we are honored to do so. If you or someone you know is in need of resources during this time, please email [email protected] so we can help you find the assistance you need.”
