DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) has announced details of her upcoming 68th town hall, which will cover school and community safety. The event will be held at the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) and is open to the public. The event will take place Monday, November 28th, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, and doors open at 5 pm. Due to room capacity and planning purposes, online RSVPs are encouraged, but not required – seating will ultimately be on a first-come, first-served basis.

“We all want to live, work, and go to school in safe environments,” said Houlahan. “I’m incredibly grateful to law enforcement and our educators in particular who are working every day to address serious issues in our schools and in our communities. We must continue our partnerships and collaboration to improve safety in every zip code, which is why I’m bringing together a panel of community leaders to discuss concerns and provide an update of response. This work truly takes all of us, so I invite all interested persons to attend my upcoming town hall.”

Speakers will include:

  • Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Representative, D-PA-06
  • Dr. George Fiore, Chester County Intermediate Unit Executive Director
  • Deb Ryan, Chester County District Attorney
  • Dan Williams, PA House Representative
  • Carolyn Comitta, PA State Senator
  • Mary Curley, Chester County Intermediate Unit Director of Communications (moderator)

Houlahan has held more town halls than any member of the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation. The live question-and-answer portion will be moderated by CCIU Director of Communications Mary Curley.
