Canine Partners for Life Celebrates 30 Years at Annual Open House & Cow Bingo

COCHRANVILLE, PA — Join Canine Partners for Life (CPL) for their annual Open House and Cow Bingo on Saturday, September 14 from 12 to 4pm at the CPL facility (334 Faggs Manor Road, Cochranville, PA 19330). Bring the whole family for an afternoon of FREE fun!

“For 30 years, we’ve had the joy of helping individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence and that has been possible thanks to the support of our community. Open House is one of my favorite days of the year because we are able to celebrate CPL’s mission with our community, both longtime supporters and those new to our mission,” says Janie Cramer, CPL’s Executive Director.

Visitors can learn about the CPL mission through a variety of activities; watch a service dog demonstration, tour the kennel, learn about volunteer opportunities, get a kiss from a puppy at the Puppy Kissing Booth, speak with service and companion dog recipients, watch puppy races, learn how the mobility harnesses are made, and more!

Along with the mission-centered booths and activities, visitors can shop from over fifteen vendors, enjoy live music or play games in the kid’s area. Seven different food trucks will be serving food, and, NEW this year, grab a drink from one of the beverage vendors! Bog Turtle Brewery, Chaddsford Winery, and Victory Brewing Co. will be serving refreshing alcoholic beverages!

The day wouldn’t be complete without CPL’s ever-popular Cow Bingo, which is a game of chance that pits your luck against the cow doing her business. If the cow heeds the call of nature on your square, you are the lucky winner of $5,000! Tickets are $10 each, squares are randomly assigned and chances are 1 in 3,000. The cow will be released at 3:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased early by cash or check using the order form found here. Winner does not need to be present to win.

This event is rain or shine. Parking is at Manor Presbyterian Church (505 Street Rd. Cochranville, PA 19330). Only handicapped parking is available at CPL. Personal pets are not permitted. To learn more, visit CPL’s website or Facebook page. All event proceeds benefit CPL’s mission.
