Trinity Berwyn Installs New Pastor on Sunday, November 15

BERWYN, PA — Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn, PA, has called the Rev. Sarah Weisiger as their new pastor. She began her work at Trinity on August 9. Rev. Weisiger will be officially installed on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 2:00 PM at a service in the church courtyard at 640 Berwyn Avenue. Sarah brings great energy, creativity, warmth and an abiding faith to her calling as pastor at Trinity.

Rev. Weisiger attended seminary at Harvard Divinity School, graduating in 2009 with a Masters of Divinity. She has served churches in NJ and southeastern PA over the last 11 years, most recently as the Minister for Membership and Faith Formation at the First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. She is certified as a Biblical Storytelling through the Network of Biblical Storytellers, International. Pastor Sarah and her husband Alex have four children and are excited to join the community of Berwyn.

“The people of Trinity are a warm family that cares deeply about the neighborhood,” says Rev. Weisiger.  “Trinity actively works to care for the world through their commitment to the Earth through their Environmental Ministry, provides much needed meals to the hungry through the Caring Cupboard, and provides a wholesome and safe place for families and people of all ages to build friendships, worship, get to know Jesus, and grow as disciples. Despite the challenges of 2020, I have been encouraged by the ways that we have been able to build community creatively online and in-person.”

Please visit the church’s website at www.trinityberwyn.com to worship virtually, or find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/trinityberwyn for updates on virtual and in-person activities in our courtyard.
